Professional learning service from SPTC

Involving families in children's education has been demonstrated to be critical to educational success. As Scotland's only charity dedicated to supporting effective engagement in children's learning, SPTC offers learning opportunities for education professionals addressing both the why and the how of parental engagement, with the aim of improving outcomes for young people through strong partnerships between teachers and families.

Our first programme, Engaging Families in Childrens Learning, is endorsed by the Scottish College of Educational Leadership and is currently being delivered across Scotland.

We offer both open and in-house programmes for schools, clusters and local authorities.
